Passing on tradition to the younger generation is the best way to preserve the history and culture of its heritage. The traditions of practice remain true to this day. These 2 little ones are going to show us their know-how, they are so cute.
Festivals and rituals are performed every year to remind us where we came from and how we have become, as we look forward to the next few years to come.
A great example of maintaining culture is this performance by two adorable young girls wearing traditional costumes.
It’s called “Summer Nights” and takes place in Kirkcudbright, Scotland. Hundreds of people gather for nights of dancing, music and fun. The gatherings are filled with food, live entertainment and bagpipes to set the mood. The two girls honored this special gathering by dancing the traditional Highland dance with bagpipes in the background. See their performance by following the link in blue a little further on.
